Rating: 4.0 / 5 — unusually open about what it is, priced steeply for speed.
Verdict: HyroTrader is a crypto prop firm with a genuinely distinctive model — you can run your challenge inside your own Bybit or BloFin demo account — fast crypto payouts, and more candour about being a simulated-account business than most competitors show. The cost is the catch: the headline “fastest” route costs 64% more than the cheapest one and is the most restricted product on the board. A 4.0 from 228 Trustpilot reviews is respectable rather than spectacular, and the firm answers critical reviews in public.
HyroTrader review 2026: a crypto prop firm built on exchange integration
HyroTrader is a crypto proprietary trading firm founded in 2023 and based in Prague. The model is the familiar one in prop trading: you pay for an evaluation, trade to a profit target inside two loss limits, and on passing you trade a funded account keeping 80% of the profit — up to 90% on two of the three routes.
What separates it from most crypto prop firms is where the trading happens. The firm’s about page claims it “introduced the first direct exchange integration in crypto proprietary trading, letting traders run their challenge on their own exchange demo account”. In practice that means five ways to trade the same challenge:
- Hyro, the firm’s own platform, with no exchange account needed, running live Bybit market data with official TradingView charts
- Bybit, through your own demo account by API — 700+ USDT perpetual pairs, leverage up to 100x
- BloFin, through your own demo account by API — 80+ USDT-M futures pairs, leverage up to 150x on BTC and ETH
- Tealstreet and Tiger.com terminals, both on Bybit market data, with the firm creating the API keys for you
For a trader who already lives in Bybit’s order ticket, not having to learn a proprietary trading platform is a real advantage. Most crypto prop trading firms hand you their own terminal and expect you to adapt; here your muscle memory survives the switch, and so does your execution quality, because you are clicking the interface you already know.
HyroTrader drawdown rules and risk management for crypto traders
Two loss limits, and a third rule that catches traders out.
| Feature | Zero-Step | One-Step | Two-Step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maximum loss | 5% | 6% | 10% |
| Daily loss | 3% | 4% | 5% |
| Profit target | 10% | 10% | 10% + 5% |
| Consistency rule | 50% per trade | 40% per day | 40% per day |
| Minimum trading days | 1 | 5 | 5 + 5 |
| Stop loss required | No | No | No |
| Trading period | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
The third rule: the account closes if you do not trade for 30 days, stated in one line on the homepage beside the loss limits, and applying regardless of how well the account is doing. Since there is no deadline for the profit target, inactivity is the only clock.
The drawdown spread across routes is wide enough to be the deciding factor for most traders. On a $25,000 Two-Step account a 10% maximum loss is $2,500 of room; the same account on Zero-Step gives 5%, or $1,250, and a daily limit of 3% rather than 5%. In crypto markets, where a single session’s volatility can move a position several percent, that difference is not academic. Trading without a required stop loss sounds permissive, but it puts the entire risk management burden on the trader — nothing on the platform will close a position before the daily limit does.
Zero-Step, One-Step and Two-Step side by side works through which suits which trading style.
What a HyroTrader funded account costs
Two-Step is cheapest at every size, One-Step sits in the middle, Zero-Step is the most expensive:
| Account | Zero-Step | One-Step | Two-Step |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $89 | $69 | $59 |
| $25,000 | $379 | $299 | $249 |
| $100,000 | $949 | $749 | $579 |
| $200,000 | not offered | $1,299 | $969 |
Read from the start-trading page’s own product data, 7 October 2026; the page itself displays only a “from” price.
One distinction matters more than the gap: on One-Step and Two-Step the charge is a refundable deposit, returned with your first payout, while on Zero-Step it is a non-refundable fee. The real cost difference between the fastest and cheapest routes is therefore wider than the sticker difference, because one number comes back and the other never does. The full cost page lays out every size.
Payout, profit split and withdrawal terms for funded traders
This is where HyroTrader reads best. Payouts are made in USDT or USDC within 24 hours, with no fees, once you hold at least $100 in profit after the split and your positions are closed. The split starts at 80% and can rise to 90% on One-Step and Two-Step for consistent traders; Zero-Step stays at 80% permanently.
For traders outside the banking systems most futures-focused prop firms depend on — a large share of this market — settlement in stablecoin inside a day is a substantive benefit rather than a marketing line. There is no payout cycle to wait for, no minimum trading days before a first withdrawal beyond the challenge’s own, and no fee taken off the top.
The scaling story is thinner. HyroTrader says consistent traders “can” be raised to 90%, which is discretionary rather than a published ladder with defined thresholds, and the largest funded account on offer is $200,000. How payouts work in detail covers the mechanics.
What HyroTrader admits about funded crypto accounts
HyroTrader’s about page states: “All accounts are simulated (demo) accounts that run on real market data.”
Most crypto prop firms operate this way; fewer say so in their own words on their own about page. Stating it plainly tells you exactly what you are buying — a performance contract against simulated execution, not a brokerage account and not real exchange liquidity. It also means the usual questions about slippage and fill quality are questions about the firm’s simulation, which is why running the challenge on Bybit’s own demo environment is more than a convenience feature.
The same page lists named leadership — Samuel Drnda as CEO, with heads of trading, product and risk strategy, engineering and client success — and a presence in Prague. The legitimacy check goes through what is and is not verifiable.
Is HyroTrader the best crypto prop firm for your trading style?
It depends which of these matters most:
- You already trade Bybit or BloFin. Few firms let you keep your platform. Strong fit.
- You need wide drawdown. Two-Step’s 10% maximum loss is generous for crypto, and it is also the cheapest route.
- You need paying out in stablecoin. USDT or USDC inside 24 hours with no fees is near the top of this market.
- You want a fast evaluation. Zero-Step delivers it, at a 64% premium with the tightest risk limits and a capped split.
- You want a large funded account. $200,000 is the ceiling. Firms offering more exist.
- You want forex or indices. Not here. This is crypto only.
Crypto trading strategies the rules allow
Published trading rules decide which crypto strategies survive an evaluation, and HyroTrader’s are permissive in the places that usually hurt.
No stop-losses are required on any route, so a strategy that manages risk by position sizing rather than by resting orders is not disqualified. A consistency rule does apply, and it is the one to plan around: no single trading day may count for more than 40% of the profit target on One-Step and Two-Step, and no single trade more than 50% of it on Zero-Step. Profit above the cap stays in the account but does not advance the target, so a strategy whose profit arrives in one session will keep its gains and still fail the evaluation. No maximum trade count appears anywhere, which matches what reviewers report. And the trading period is unlimited, so a strategy that waits for specific market conditions is not racing a 30-day clock — only the inactivity rule, which closes an account after 30 days without a trade.
What the rules do constrain is drawdown, and in crypto markets that is the binding constraint. A 3% daily limit on Zero-Step leaves little room for a leveraged position to move against you overnight; Two-Step’s 5% daily and 10% maximum is the configuration most swing strategies need. The low-cap altcoin rule is the one strategy-level restriction, and it is specific: under 5% of initial balance, including leverage, in any coin under $100M market cap. Anyone whose edge is in thin markets should size against that before buying.
One gap worth noting for strategy planning: HyroTrader publishes no weekend or news-trading restriction on its public pages. That is not the same as there being none in the account terms, so it is worth asking support before building a strategy that depends on it.
Account sizes, scaling and what Trustpilot reviews report
Six account sizes, $5,000 to $200,000, with Zero-Step capped at $100,000. Scaling is described as a profit split rising toward 90% for consistent traders rather than as automatic capital growth, and there is no published threshold at which it happens.
On the review side, Trustpilot shows 4.0 from 228 reviews, with the profile claimed since July 2023. The themes in recent reviews match the published terms rather than contradicting them: first payouts arriving, no cap on the number of trades, and friction with the low-cap altcoin rule. A trader in September 2026 described a first payout on a $5,000 account after years of failed challenges elsewhere, and named the low-cap rule as the one real obstacle — HyroTrader replied in public explaining the rule rather than deleting the complaint. Is HyroTrader legit? weighs those signals properly.
Trading crypto with HyroTrader: platforms, pairs and leverage

What a crypto trader is actually handed, identical on every route and account size:
| Platform | Account needed | Instruments | Leverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hyro (the firm’s own) | None | 700+ pairs | up to 100x+, by pair |
| Bybit, by API | Your own demo account | 700+ USDT perpetuals | up to 100x |
| BloFin, by API | Your own demo account | 80+ USDT-M futures | up to 150x on BTC and ETH |
| Tealstreet | Keys created for you | Bybit market data | as Bybit |
| Tiger.com | Keys created for you | Bybit market data | as Bybit |
From HyroTrader’s own homepage, 7 October 2026.
This is a crypto prop trading firm in the strict sense: there is no forex pair, no index and no commodity anywhere in the product. A trader coming from a multi-asset prop trading firm should expect the volatility profile to be different in kind, not just degree — a 3% daily drawdown on a leveraged perpetual position is a very different constraint from the same percentage on a major currency pair, and it is why the gap between Zero-Step’s 3% and Two-Step’s 5% matters so much.
The Hyro platform exists for traders who do not want an exchange account at all: live Bybit market data, official TradingView charts, realistic fees and slippage by the firm’s description, and the challenge starts instantly. The trade-off is that you are back on a firm-operated terminal rather than real order books, which is the thing the exchange integration was built to avoid.
Where HyroTrader gets harder for real traders
- The low-cap altcoin rule. Published on the firm’s own homepage with numbers: coins with a market cap under $100M are limited to under 5% of initial balance, including leverage. HyroTrader explained the reasoning in a public September 2026 Trustpilot reply — liquidity and execution risk as traders scale — to a trader who had just taken a first payout and still named it as the one real friction. It is the rule most likely to catch a trader who works thin markets.
- Zero-Step’s ceiling. The newest route stops at $100,000 and never scales past an 80% split.
- Unaudited counters. $8M+ paid, 1.7K+ funded traders, 35K+ registered — all the firm’s own figures, none independently verified.
- No published discount. If you arrived looking for a code, the honest position is on the homepage.
Frequently asked questions
Is HyroTrader good for beginners? Two-Step is the gentlest on paper — widest drawdown, lowest price — but a 10% target across two phases is not a beginner’s exercise. The free trial is the cheaper way to find out.
Can I trade my challenge on my own Bybit account? Yes, on a Bybit demo account connected by API. That is the firm’s signature feature, and BloFin works the same way.
Does HyroTrader require a stop loss? No route requires one, per the firm’s own rules tables. Risk management is left entirely to the trader.
How long do I have to pass the evaluation? There is no deadline — the trading period is unlimited on all three routes. But trade nothing for 30 days and the account closes.
What is the minimum withdrawal? $100 in profit after the split, with positions closed. That is $125 gross at an 80% split.
How many crypto pairs can I trade? 700+ on Bybit and on the firm’s own platform; 80+ USDT-M futures pairs on BloFin.
